Standardized Testing & Classroom Management

We had two really informative presentations this morning. Does anyone want to comment or ask a question regarding either presentation?

Lynn and Adriana did an awesome job today on their presentations! I learned how standardized testings can put so much pressure on a student. Classroom management is definitely important because it helps create a calm yet enjoyable learning experience.

**Good Luck to everyone next Friday!

I really thought both presentations were really well done. Lynn had amazing graphs and I loved Adriana's example of a well organized classroom.

I have really thought about how much I dislike test. After Lynn's presentation it really made me think how much emotional support that i will need to give my kids so they don't get overwhelmed with a test. Plus with Adriana's presentation it made realize that i will have to squeeze teaching in there between classroom management and testing. My goal is special ed. so i am not too worried about testing, but it is very hard to think that for most of our teaching careers that that those two factors will be a main focus. I know it is an overwhelming feeling, but it gets me depressed sometimes. I am I the only one who feels that we are already have been beat before we even started? Don't you love my pessimistic attitude.
