"Educatio est omnium efficacissima forma rebellionis"

I saw this quote on someone's profile in second life. Can anyone find out whose quote it is? What does it mean? Do you agree with it?

The English translation means "Education is the most effective form of rebellion" - by Thorin The meaning of this quote is that nothing is more powerful than education. There is so much out there that a single person can learn, but it is up to that person to distinguish what is true and false. Everyone needs to look from whats within and not believe the 'garbage' the world generates everyday. Everyone can make a difference in their lives, but it's all about self control and self educating. I definitely agree with the quote because it shows how important education really is and we can use that as a tool of confidence. We can all rebell against the 'garabage' and use our education to better our lives.
